After several years as concept designer and project manager of the sole extranet system for a major Norwegian telco (ISP, Mobile, POTS, datacom), func-spec', designing, architecting and constructing diverse systems in various tools and development environments, and launching several WWW systems as ISP, etc, I have substantial knowledge of concept and system design.

In the conceptual design of systems, user interfaces (UI), terminals, and processing concepts are carefully selected to ensure an optimal user experience and lowest possible error-rate in the information flow. Typical candidates: Barcode, OCR, biometrics, Wireless LAN (WLAN), Personal Digital Assistants, Web Services, extranet on Internet, role-UI, Just-In-Time (JIT) document issuing, POS processing, real-time status monitoring, STP/exception-only handling, and more.

Required phases of a project can be performed by me; Project definition, Analysis, Design, etc. Deliverables for each phase can be formalized for hand-off to other parties if required, e.g. Design Spec to programmers. When required, I can provide extra developers throught partnerships: Web developers, Web designers, Programmers, Database Engineers, UI Experts, etc.

I currently develop in the following Integrated Development Environments (IDE) and platforms: Microsoft VisualStudio .NET, Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 , Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Adobe Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, Flash 8 (the Studio 8 suite), and professional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools and bureau services.
